Csilla E. Smith

Csilla E. Smith joined Phillips & Mille in 2023. Csilla’s practice includes the following areas: estate planning, estate administration, long term care planning, financial powers of attorney, healthcare powers of attorney, living wills, wills, guardianships, asset protection planning, and trust administration. Csilla is experienced and sensitive in assisting, advising, and walking alongside those going through the process of administering a loved one’s estate. Csilla enjoys getting to know clients and advising clients regarding their specific and unique circumstances. Estate planning is not a one size fits all situation. In her immediate family Csilla has experienced firsthand the unexpected loss of loved ones, intestate estate administration, long term care needs, and lack of estate planning. 

Csilla earned her Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science from the Ohio State University. At the Ohio State University Csilla competed on the varsity fencing team for four years as a foil fencer. Csilla enjoys rooting for OSU football, mentoring young adults, hiking, dogs, travel, and exploring new places. Csilla has lived in Broadview Heights since 1994 and has four adult children and two grandchildren.

Csilla’s background includes managing a sizeable caseload of probate administration estates in over 20 Ohio counties. She has experience with real estate transactions, real estate agent and real estate broker law, and has been involved in the management of customer service and quality assurance teams. She has served as an employee benefits advisor, has served as part of a core management team and has familiarity with in-home non-medical care giving. She has also served as the lead election poll judge.
